兽用病毒疫苗是通过给兽类接种非致病性病原体或者其部分成分来激发生物体的适应性免疫系统产生抗体,从而成为控制动物感染的一种有效的预防方法。目前,兽用疫苗的销量占全球动物保健品市场的23%份额。由于病毒的种类和高突变率对动物的免疫应答施加的压力日益增加,疫苗的研究策略也需要与时俱进。本研究通过简要综述当前进口兽用病毒疫苗的研究、设计方法,从免疫学的角度提出一些新的研究策略,希望为下一代兽用病毒疫苗的设计思路提供有用的信息。
Abstract:Animal virus vaccine was an effective prevention approach to control animal infection by inoculating animals with nonpathogenic viruses or their components to stimulate the adaptive immune system of organisms to produce antibodies. At present, the sales of veterinary virus vaccines take up 23% of the global market for animal health products. The number and the high-frequency mutation of viruses had exerted much more pressures on the animal immune response, so the studying strategies for veterinary vaccine should keep pace with the time. This study briefly reviewed the current research and design methods of imported animal virus vaccines, and proposed some novel studying strategies from the perspective of immunology with the hope to provide some useful information for the design of the next generation of veterinary vaccines.
