记述采自广西境内短翼蚱科蟾蚱属Hyboella Hancock昆虫1新种,即波股蟾蚱Hyboellaundatifemura sp.nov.。该新种近似于贵州蟾蚱H.guizhouensis Zheng,主要区别为:(1)头顶不突出于复眼之前;(2)头顶前缘平直;(3)侧面观前胸背板上缘波状;(4)沟前区侧隆线向后收缩;(5)中足股节上、下缘波状;(6)雌性下生殖板后缘中央三角形突出。模式标本保存在陕西师范大学动物研究所标本室(2♂3♀)和河池学院动物标本室(1♂2♀)。
Abstract：A new species of the genus Hyboella Hancock is described.Type specimens(2♂3♀) are deposited in the Institute of Zoology,Shanxi Normal University,China and another(1♂2♀) in Department of Chemistry and Life Science,Hechi University,China.Hyboella undatifemura sp.nov.(Fig.1) The new species is allied to Hyboella guizhouensis Zheng,2005,but differs in:(1) anterior margin of vertex does not protrude beyond eyes;(2) anterior margin of vertex is straight;(3) upper margin of pronotum is wave-like in profile;(4) lateral keels of prozona constrict backward;(5) upper and lower margins of midfemur is wavelike;(6) middle of posterior margin of subgenital plate with a triangular is convex.Lengthofbody:♂7.07.5mm,♀9.5~10.0mm;Lengthofpronotum:♂6.06.5mm,♀ 8.5 9.0 mm;Length of hind femur:♂ 5.05.5 mm,♀6.06.5 mm.Holotype ♀,Guangxi Fengshan(Jinya),(24.5°N,107.1°E,alt.1 000 m),2 September 2005,collected by DENG Wei-an.Paratypes: 2♂2♀,same data as holotype;1♀,Guangxi Lipu(Fengyuyan),(24.5°N,110.5°E,alt.300 m),7 July 2005,collected by DENG Wei-an;1♂1♀,Guangxi Tiandeng(Shangying),(23.1°N,107.2°E,alt.650 m),13 August 2005,collected by WEI Shi-zhen.Etymology.This new species name is derived from the Latin undat and femur,meaning upper and lower margins of midfemur wave-like.
