记述刺翼蚱科 Scelimenidae优角蚱属 Eucriotettix一新种 ,即桂平优角蚱 Eucriotettix guipingensissp.nov.。
Abstract：One new species of the genus Eucriotettix is described in the paper.The type specimens are deposited in the Agricultural College,Guangxi University. Eucriotettix guipingensis sp.nov.(Fig.1). The new species is allied to E.oculatus (Bolivar),but differs in :(1)vertex narrower,the width of vertex and an eye is in a ratio of about 1∶1 6;(2) median antennal segment 4 6 times as long as its width;(3) prozonal carinae distinctly convergent behind;(4) pronotum longer,extending much beyond the apex of posterior tibiae;(5) width of vertex in female slightly wider than width of an eye. Holotype ,paratype 3 ,2 ♀♀,Guangxi:Guiping,230 m,August,19,1998,collected by Li Tianshan.
