１９９０～１９９３年对广西淡水鱼类进行了寄生蠕虫区系调查，发现寄生于南方拟（Ｐｓｅｕｄｏｈｅｍｉｃｕｌｔｅｒｄｉｓｐａｒ）鱼上指环虫一新种，定名为右江指环虫Ｄａｃｔｙｌｏｇｙｒｕｓｙｏｕｊｉａｎｇｅｎｓｉｓｓｐ．ｎｏｖ．。此虫种以其辅助片量度较小，交接管为基部轻微弧形弯曲的直形锥管，支持器呈中部具套环的＂Ｖ＂字形，区别于与之相近似的Ｄ．ｌａｔｉｔｕｂａＧｕｓｓｅｖ１９５５及本属其他已知种。

A new species of Dactylogyrus──Dactylogyrus youjiangensis sp.nov.is reported.its morphological characteristics,host and location of discovery are described.Host:Pseudohemiculter dispar(Peters).Location:gills.Locality:Youjiang of Guangxi.Body length:0.364～0.458 mm.marginal booklets well developed.Total length of central large hooks:0.030～0.042 mm;opisthaptor with two connective bars. Size of connective plate:0. 002～0.003 mm×0.025～0.029 mm;Size of supplementary plate:0.002～0.003 mm×0.022～0.024mm;copulatory tube whose base is slight bend as arc is a staight cone tube,0.023～0.032 mm in total length.Supporting apparatus is V─shape with a casing ring in the middle,0.035～0.039 mm in total length.This worm differ from any other known species of the Dactylogyrus,therefore,we named it as a new species.
